The Criminal Investigations Department in the Southern Division has made a breakthrough in their investigations into the death of Jamal Clarke.
They have arrested Dario Orlando Taitt, 30, of Silver Sands, Christ Church.
Taitt has been charged with murder.
He is scheduled to appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
Clarke was shot and killed at Silver Sands on May 2.
A police statement said officers at the Oistins Police Station received a report around 8:20 a.m. from a male who said that his brother was shot about his body, whilst along the roadway at Silver Sands.
Clarke was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a private motor vehicle but was subsequently pronounced dead on arrival.
