The St Michael woman accused of importing compressed cannabis in eight cans of coffee has been sent to prison, at least, until next month.
Joanne Cheeseman of 2nd Avenue Melvins, Black Rock was remanded to Dodds Prison until November 10 when she appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today.
The 48-year-old woman has been charged with possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of five pounds of the drug, which police say she brought into the country in a barrel of foodstuff.
Cheeseman was charged with similar offences earlier this year.
