On Sunday, hundreds of Barbadians are expected to take a walk through the historic street of the City but today BCC and UWI students of the NCF, Summer Dance Internship Programme were busy practising the re-enactment of the 1937 riots for the First Citizens Crop Over Heritage Walk in association with Barbados Tourism Investment Inc.
The dancers took to Jubilee Gardens to run through their paces under the watchful eye of the NCF Cultural Officer for Dance, John Hunte, while Stuart Layne, Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Tourism Investment Inc., and NCF, Corporate Communications Specialist Simone Codrington look on.
