The man killed in Monday night’s accident along Waterford Road, St Michael, has been identified as 70-year-old Hensley Hinkson.
Hinkson, of Dalkeith Road, St Michael, was struck by a car travelling from the Clyde Walcott Roundabout towards Bridgetown around 9:50 p.m.
He died at the scene.
Police investigations are continuing.
