The man accused of taking the life of 60-year-old Melanise Eversley was remanded to HMP Dodds following his first court appearance yesterday.
Trevor Linus Baptiste, 35, of Cutting Road, Haggatt Hall, St Michael appeared in the District ‘B” Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Laurie-Ann Smith-Bovell.
He will reappear in court on October 12.
Eversley’s body was discovered in a bushy field at Jordan’s, St George on September 3 by fire officers who were called to the area to extinguish a fire.
