Police are continuing investigations into the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old man at St Hill Road, Tweedside Road, St Michael around 11:45 a.m.
Eyewitnesses at the scene said the deceased was a victim of a drive-by shooting.
Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss said: “We are yet to confirm that. We are carrying out our investigations to find out what occurred.”
He has appealed to anyone who witnessed or have information on the incident to contact police.
