Tara Mayers is still relishing in the success of her first book Kingdom Budgeting For Women which was published in September last year. And as a result, she decided to write Kingdom Budgeting Diary which was published on February 13, 2022, to further assist women with their budgeting goals.

Speaking to the media, Mayers said that after the success of her first book she realised that more needed to be done to help persons achieve their financial goals especially in this period of uncertainty.

“Seeing the response from my first book, I realized that many persons were willing and ready to prepare for their financial future and as such the Diary came easy to provide women with a practical space to work on their budgeting and planning.

The book was published this year in February in Paper and Kindle on Amazon stores internationally,” she said.

Mayers said the catalyst for deciding to publish her second book less than six months after her debut publication was
due to her continuing to do what God has called her to do – assist women with becoming financially literate.

“My mission remains the desire to do what God has called me to do which is to equip, empower and expand. The response has been heartwarming and encouraging thus far. I have received calls and messages from readers about the impact the book has made on changing their mindset and their life.

“I have seen the book being posted as a personal favourite from my readers and for this I am humbled and grateful,”
she said.

The former student of Combermere who holds a Bachelors of Humanities in Spanish and French said that when persons read her new book Kingdom Budgeting Diary, they would take away an experience to push them to a new level in personal financial planning.

“When persons read my new publication Kingdom Budgeting Diary, they would be inspired to take the next step in their financial planning journey. There are even more pages to note your supermarket list and your budget for the month. The book also features quarterly reviews and budgeting pages to assist you in preparing to secure a sound financial future,” she said.

Mayers said that once the Holy Spirit moves her to write another publication she will do so as she is overwhelmed with the success her books have achieved in a short period of time.

“I am not sure when I am going to publish another book again, but I wait on the direction of the Father. However,
one of the things that I am most thankful for is the opportunity that the book provides to share and mentor according to God’s word,” she said.

The author of Kingdom Budgeting For Women and Kingdom Budgeting Diary invites persons to attend her book launch and free seminar at the University of The West Indies, Cave Hill Campus on Saturday April 9, 2022, at the 3Ws Conference Room at 4 p.m.
