
Barbados has recorded another COVID-19 related death, taking the national tally to 57.
Chief Medical Officer Dr Kenneth George said the man, a 73-year-old Guyanese was at Harrison’s Point for 12 days. He died around 10 p.m. on Thursday. The elderly man had a comorbidity and was unvaccinated.
Minister of Health and Wellness Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic extends condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
It’s the fifth COVID-related death recorded this week.
