Fidel Nkomo Alleyne and Malissa Carla Griffith who are accused to murdering Lamar Carter, 22, early last week have been remanded to prison until March 5.
Thirty-six-year old Alleyne of #116 Denton Road, Grazettes and Griffith, 25, of Rochester Way, Grazettes, St Michael were not required to plead to the indictable charge when they appeared in the District ‘D’ Magistrates’ Court earlier today.
Scores of people turned up at the court to get a glimpse of the accused. As she was being taken away in the vehicle, Griffith gave the thumbs up.

Carter, who lived at Spring Farm, St Thomas was found dead in a car at Lancaster, St James.
Meanwhile, Javid Riad Alleyne – Fidel’s brother – who also appeared in the court charged with assisting an offender, was remanded until the same date.
In her objections to his bail, Sergeant Glenda Carter-Nicholls said that the allegation was serious and that Alleyne was a flight risk.
She contended that a warrant was already out for him for non-payment of a fine, and given that he had already failed to comply, there was no guarantee he would follow his bail conditions.
Griffith is being represented by attorney-at-law Angella Mitchell-Gittens, Javid Alleyne by Stan Smith and Fidel Alleyne is unrepresented.
