The first phase of a major distribution programme of geometry sets to first form students in public and private secondary schools across Barbados has officially ended.
This morning equipment rentals company, Infra, which organized the initiative, presented three students with Asus tablets.

They are Tiffinie Worrell from Combermere School, Kadeen Young of St Leonard’s Boys’ School, and Kim Rollins of Princess Margaret Secondary School. Kim’s mom, Vanda, collected the device on her behalf.
“We distributed to 33 secondary schools 4,200 geometry sets . . . I believe every kid that got them has been very pleased with receiving the geometry sets. We gave every student a chance to win one of three tablets that we’re giving away,” explained general manager of Infra, Michael Graham, during this morning’s presentation at the company’s Black Bess, St Peter office.
“We’re very pleased to do this promotion to help the kids in Barbados get ahead because we want to give something back to Barbados. We’re very happy to make three kids and three parents very happy,” Graham added.
