Mohandai Durga-Pinder has been charged with money laundering.

Archer, who is accused of carrying out the actual burglary around 10.10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 27 in which over $14, 000 was stolen, also faces a separate charge of robbery in relation to an incident last November 5. He is further charged with possession of two grammes of cannabis, which lawmen say was found on him when he was arrested.

The 20-year-old burglary suspect appeared in the District A Magistrates’ Court today along with his stepfather Pinder, who is accused of handling stolen property, and his mother Durga-Pinder, who has been charged with money laundering.

Archer was remanded to prison while his stepfather and mother were released on bail.

Lawmen say a portion of the money stolen from Scotiabank has been recovered.
