
Lawmen have launched an unnatural death investigation into the death of a 31-year-old man who was shot and killed at St. Ann’s Road, Pinelands, St. Michael last night.
Police Public Relations Officer Inspector (ag) Rodney Inniss said the incident took place about 10:38 p.m. on Wednesday 5, May 2021. Police received a call at the Operations Control Room, from a caller who reported the shooting incident.
The police spokesman said that a number of patrols units responded to the area. One police unit encountered a private motor car transporting the injured man to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, that police unit escorted that vehicle to the hospital.
However, within moments of arriving the victim was pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
