Dismissed National Conservation Commission (NCC) workers staged a protest outside the headquarters of the National Union of Public Workers (NUPW) this morning, as they expressed anger and frustration at the long wait in getting a hearing in their matter.
The employees, who were dismissed in April this year, said they could no longer wait on the Employment Rights Tribunal to hear their case of unfair dismissal and they will push for interim payment until their severance is settled.
They made their position clear to the media after meeting with NUPW officials.
The workers charged that they have been badly treated and have been left empty handed.
