A 15-year-old schoolboy of Spruce Street, The City, is now nursing a stab wound to his back after being attacked while walking across the Charles Duncan O’Neale Bridge.

In an interview with Barbados TODAY, the boy’s mother Deandra Foster said her son was on his way home when he was attacked.

Foster said: “My son was walking over the bridge with some friends when he felt a blow in his back. He was unaware that he was injured until someone told her that he was bleeding.”

When Foster spoke to Barbados TODAY around 7 p.m. tonight she was at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital anxiously awaiting a medical report on her son.

In a separate incident, which reportedly occurred in the Fairchild Street Bus Terminal, another schoolboy (pictured below) was stabbed in the face. He was forced to seek medical attention at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The schoolboys await medical treatment at the QEH.
