A Barbados TODAY team took to the streets of the City this afternoon to get feedback about the BCA’s decision to fire CEO Jefferson Miller.

Mark: “When hiring people for top positions, you should do background checks on everybody. You should not take people at face value because at the end of the day, all we are human beings and nobody isn’t perfect. Society got this thing that because you come from a certain family, live in the heights or hold a certain position, you can’t do wrong. That is what the problem is.”

William: ”I am convinced that nobody in Barbados does do due diligence. They don’t ever carry it through to the end . . . It’s a lesson for everybody else – it’s the best thing to do.”

Rico: “I feel that everybody should get a chance in life. Everybody deserves a second chance.”

Kenrick: “I am sorry to hear that something like that occured . . . But, differently, I would like them to give he a fair try. I would like everything to go respectable, so that the public would see that when ya commit things like these and people got faith in you and believe in you, dat other people would learn from the situation.”
