The much-anticipated results of the Barbados Secondary Schools Entrance Examination, otherwise known as the 11-plus, will be released tomorrow by new Minister of Education, Technological and Vocational Training Santia Bradshaw.
Making the disclosure during today’s Budget debate in the House of Assembly, Bradshaw said the announcement would take on an added technological dimension this year.
“Tomorrow when I announce the results for the 11-plus exam which many of my colleagues in particular and others have been texting and messaging to find out what those results are, for the first time I think in the history of the ministry, we will be going LIVE with the press conference,” she said, adding that given the remit of her ministry it made sense to utilize the technology.
The results will be streamed on the Barbados Government Information Services' Facebook page from 8.30 a.m.
A total of 3,426 primary school students sat the examination early last month.
