
Two Public Service Vehicle workers charged with yesterday’s fracas in the River Van Stand have been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds.
Thirty-year-old Travis Tremaine Brathwaite of Sealy Hall, St Philip and 34-year-old James Anthony Andrews of Apple Hall Terrace in the same parish appeared before Magistrate Graveney Bannister in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court where they pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Brathwaite was charged with obstructing, assaulting and resisting Constable 2077 Denis Murray in the execution of his duties.
He was also charged with criminal damage of one police uniform shirt, which is the property of the Crown.
Andrews was charged with assaulting and threatening Police Constable 2214 Donette Cadogan, soliciting passengers, and being improperly attired.
The accused will reappear in court on June 1.
